Still have a need for speed?
Get ready. You’ll be able to watch Maverick, Rooster, Hangman, Phoenix and the rest of the gang hit the skies from the comfort of your own home beginning next week.
You can purchase “Top Gun: Maverick” digitally on Tuesday, Aug. 23.
The digital release comes even as the sequel to the 1986 “Top Gun” film is still running in theaters. “Top Gun: Maverick” smashed box office records becoming the first Tom Cruise movie to surpass $1 billion in box office receipts worldwide.
If you prefer a hard copy of the movie, you’ll need to wait until Tuesday, Nov. 1, when “Top Gun: Maverick” becomes available in 4k, DVD and Blu-Ray versions.
Paramount Pictures is offering fans nearly two hours of bonus content and special features with both the digital and physical releases. The bonus content promises an inside look at how the film was made, including the intense training the cast underwent to prepare for the high-adrenaline and extreme flying scenes. Additional features include music videos from the “Top Gun: Maverick” soundtrack from Lady Gaga and OneRepublic.
