Every year on Nov. 11 our country recognizes the service and sacrifice of those who’ve served in our Armed Forces. To honor that service, many businesses use Veterans Day as an opportunity to thank active and retired military personnel with free meals, discounts or other offers. Here are some Veterans Day discounts and perks you may be able to find in your local area.

Food and drink
7-Eleven – Get a free coffee or Big Gulp on Veterans Day. This offer is for veterans, active-duty military, reservists and their families. Download the 7-Eleven app to redeem.
Applebee’s – With proof of service, veterans and active duty military can select a free meal from a limited menu on Veterans Day. This offer is valid for dine-in only. Additionally, service members who dine at the restaurant on Nov. 11, 2021 will receive a coupon for $5 off their next meal, which must be redeemed within 3 weeks.
Bob Evans – Free select menu items for veterans and active-duty military on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2021.
Bruegger’s Bagels – Veterans and active-duty military can enjoy a free hot or iced coffee on Veterans Day.
Buffalo Wild Wings – Buffalo Wild Wings is offering a free order of 10 boneless wings and fries for all past and present armed services members this Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2021. The offer is available for dine-in or takeout and proof of service must be shown for redemption.
Chili’s – All veterans and active-duty military personnel can choose a complimentary meal from a select menu on Veterans Day 2020.
Dunkin’ Donuts – Veterans and active-duty military are invited to participating Dunkin’ restaurants nationwide for a free donut of their choice, no purchase necessary.
Outback Steakhouse – With its Heroes Discount, Outback offers veterans and active-duty service members 10% off their check all day, every day with a valid state or federal service ID. Discount not eligible on alcohol and applicable taxes.
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers – Military Royalty members can enjoy a free Tavern Double Burger and bottomless steak fries at participating restaurants nationwide through Nov. 14, 2021. Dine-in or to-go. In order to participate in the offer, active and retired military members must register for the Red Robin Royalty® Program at www.redrobin.com/royalty.
Starbucks – Veterans, active-duty service members and military spouses can enjoy a free tall (12 oz.) cup of brewed coffee at any participating Starbucks location.
Texas Roadhouse – Texas Roadhouse plans to offer meal vouchers to active and retired military members. The meal vouchers will be distributed at the restaurant between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11th. The vouchers will be valid through May 30, 2022.
Yard House – Veteran and active-duty military members may choose a complimentary appetizer of their choice on Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021. This offer is valid for dine-in only and no purchase is necessary.
Other
Target – Between Oct. 31-Nov. 13, 2021, Target is offering all U.S. active-duty military personnel, veterans and their families a 10% off two separate purchases; some exclusions apply. To receive the offer, guests must first demonstrate eligibility by registering at www.target.com/circle/
A few things to keep in mind when it comes to these generous offers:

Cell phones, computers & technology
Apple – Veterans and Military personnel receive a 10% discount on Apple products. You may also purchase for immediate family who live in the same household.
AT&T – Military and veteran discounts available for wireless service, internet service, and DirectTV. For more details visit att.com/military.
Dell – 10% off PCs and electronics on Dell.com by emailing militarydiscount@dell.com to speak with a U.S. based sales agent.
Microsoft – 10% off on select products for active, former, and retired military personnel and their families.
Sprint/T-Mobile – Sprint and T-Mobile merged and offer active-duty military and veterans family wireless plans at a 50% discount.
Verizon – Verizon offers a military discount on wireless plans. The discount is depending on what kind of plan you purchase and how many lines you have. Additionally, Verizon offers a military discount on wireless accessories.
Home
Home Depot – Home Depot offers a 10% military discount on regularly priced merchandise for in-store purchases for active-duty, retired military, and reservists at participating locations. Customers are required to show a valid government-issued military ID card to redeem this offer.
Lowe’s – Lowe’s offers 10% off eligible purchases every day to active military personnel and veterans. You must register online to verify your military credentials.
Pottery Barn – Active-duty, retired military members and their families receive 15% off their entire in-store purchase. Some exclusions apply.
