MilHousing Network is hosting their quarterly MilHousing Virtual Movie Night and YOU are invited! This month, on Friday, Jan. 22, thousands of military families are grabbing their remote, a tasty box of snacks and crashing their couches together. MilHousing Network is on a mission to help make the transitions easier before, during and after a PCS and their virtual movie night is just one way they are helping create memories for military families.

How? Join the official MilHousing Network Movie Night Facebook Group
When you request to join the group, you can participate in movie night trivia, costume contests and compete for best hashtag photos to win t-shirts, gift cards and tons of other fabulous prizes.
And what movie night would be complete without a fun DIY? The MilHhousing Network “Kid Craft” tutorial will show how to make some home-made costume jewelry. That way, everyone can get into gear for family fun.

Don’t worry — there’s stuff for adults, too. Lindsey Litton, one of the co-founders of MilHousing Network, will be highlighting a fantastic charcuterie board tutorial for the whole family to enjoy. There will also be a guest appearance from Charlie Braden from Aligned Mortgage, the snack box sponsor for this exciting event, sharing one of his favorite adult beverages to sip alongside some yummy snacks.
MilHousing Network introduced virtual movie night in response to COVID-19 lockdowns
The first movie night was born out of the desperate need for connection and community at the very beginning of COVID-19 lockdowns and mandatory social distancing. MilHousing Network co-founders, Lindsey Litton and Karina Gafford, had the brilliant idea to bring people together around wholesome family fun, great movies, and snacks to share. The inaugural event began with the release of “Trolls World Tour” in March 2020.
MilHousing movie goers donned fluffy hats made of tulle and flowers, mirroring their Troll counterparts. Fun and funky movie rooms were set up all over the country and abroad. The result was a tidal wave of joy and connectivity. The #MilhousingMovieNight was all over social media and military families had an exciting opportunity to create a little magic in a time of great need.
