With more than 130 food trucks operating within Jacksonville on any given day, it’s hard to ignore their rise in popularity. People, including my family, take food trucks very seriously when stationed near NAS Jacksonville.
Many of the outdoor events in Jacksonville include food trucks to vend. Most of them either have a permanent space where they park or will post where they’re going to be from day-to-day. It’s not uncommon to see food trucks setting up during the dinner hour at a subdivision or for the ice cream trucks to make daily stops at local playgrounds or places like Sunshine Park at Jacksonville Beach.
If you want to visit several food trucks at once, look no further than Mural Park, located at 1800 Mayport Road at Atlantic Beach. Every Saturday the Cultural Corridor hosts a food truck meetup from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. that’s open to the public. Due to social distancing, only a limited number of food trucks are invited each week, making it an easy way to try something new every week.

Bawk-Bawk Chicken Truck

One of my favorite aspects of living in Jacksonville is that every single day I get to see amazing entrepreneurs working hard to serve the people of our city, and nothing makes me happier than the days where I can stop by and support one of them.
