Andrea Blackstone is a Virginia-based freelance writer, editor, and media consultant who was raised by an Air Force veteran and hails from generations of military service members. Her significant other is a disabled Army retiree. She co-founded Give Back to Veterans, a project meant to help veterans in need and thank elderly heroes, because her young son wanted to lend a hand.
