Dave Paone was born on Long Island and was a photojournalism major at School of Visual Arts in New York City where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honors. Dave has won several journalism awards for articles, photographs and headlines, including two awards for photos from the Military Reporters & Editors Assoc. in D.C. His autobiography, Mickey Rooney Was Right, was published in 2010 though Author House.
